Starting to build kitchen cupboards




The flat packed carcasses stacked up ready to be built.

Mirrors

We have learnt the same lesson twice this week - glaziers work to 3mm tolerances, so trying to get multiple mirrors to fit tight into a set gap is too ambitious.

More work in the bathrooms


Mosaic tiles in the family bathroom.


Grouting the magnetic removable tiled panel.


And the fixed tiling around the basin.


The bath panel and mirror cupboards fitted.

The ensuite all plumbed in with cupboards and shelves completed.


Basin fixed to the wall in WC, but not plumbed in yet.


It's the smallest basin in the world!

Downstairs WC - pine boarding and shelves


Just couldn't resist trying the books out in their new home!


Shelves are made of softwood on site, painted with Earthborne claypaint (woodsmoke).  Southern yellow pine boards and vanity top are finished with Biofa, Universal hard oil (2044).


The other end of the pine vanity top, mirror and clay plaster (clayworks, buff).
