The recycled concrete blocks arrived for the first part of the masonry foundations below ground level. These 'Masterblock Enviroblock' blocks boast a recycled content of a minimum of 80%, which was the highest percentage we could find. It would be interesting to know if anyone knows of one with a higher content...
Ideally we wanted them located in the centre of the excavation, however the reach on the crane was not sufficient. This was as far as they could get the blocks.
